Kenwood Boys Lax 'Birds Rewarded for Strong Season in Baltimore County; Make History in the Process

Timonium, Maryland (5/8/2012):

On 5/8/2012, Kenwood Boys Lacrosse made a statement in the world of High School Boys Lacrosse.  For the first time in program history, Jordan Boller received Honorable Mention USILA All-American Honors.  Baltimore County is only allowed four (4) spots for this prestigious honor and Jordan finished 5th behind four (4) players from powerhouse Hereford (2 players), Towson and Dulaney.  Jordan was one spot away from earning an All-American selection (7 votes).  Jordan finished the regular season with 43 goals and 32 assists (75 points) as well as 52 ground balls.  Jordan was also selected as the Fox 45 Prep Player of the Week earlier this season.

A total of eight (8) players from the Kenwood Boys Lacrosse team earned All-Division Honors:

1st Team All-Division:

Jordan Boller (Attack-43,32,52GB)

Nick Eliadis (Attack-53, 18,60GB)

Eric Ulrich (Midfield-17,14,56GB)

Jesse Greifzu (Midfield-133 F/O wins out of 190 for 70% wins, 2 goals, 1 assist, 68GB)

Adam Hensler (Defense - 38 GB)

2nd Team All-Division:

Troy Hagy (Midfield-17,9,82 GB)

Matt Diggs (Defense-40GB,1 Assist)

Honorable Mention All-Division:

Kevin Dellasantos (Attack-14,17,49GB)

In addition to all of the player awards, Coach Tony Ruocco and Coach Brian King from Hereford were nominated by their peers for Baltimore County Coach of the Year.  Coach Ruocco finished a close second to Coach Brian King of Hereford High School.
